ARTIST'S COMMENT

Venus is triumphant at the judgment of Paris. Zeus’ golden apple in her hands, she in her temple represents the highest in art for that time. Civilizations in marble creations are threatened by nature’s turbulent forces.   Inspired by a trip to Greece and Pompeii in Italy, this piece remains a major work of my repertoire.
