What may seem like science fiction to us "surface dwellers", is actually a medical technology that has already been in use for decades in the secret space programs!     This is a hand-me-down technology given to "us" from technologically-advanced ET civilizations.

Basic idea:   
Input a person's unique DNA into a super-computer, which then creates a perfectly-healthy replica of their body in the computer. And this is detailed down to the level of each cell.    Then transfer that information into a holographic projector that can project a 3D image of that perfectly-healthy body - again, with a resolution down to each cell!   Project that 3D holographic image directly onto whatever part of the body needs healing (like a dying kidney, or a missing leg), and this hologram fools the body into re-growing a perfectly-healthy version of whatever needs fixing, or is missing!

•  Work miraculously faster than contemporary medical techniques.

•  Painless for the patient. Totally non-invasive:  No drugs / No surgery.

•  No negative side-effects for the patient.

•  Cures everything .

•  Much more effective at re-creating a natural perfectly-healthy version of the injured organ or missing limb.

So WHY is this technology not available to the earth public?

Well, there are those factions that think it is a crime-against-humanity to withold these technologies from the earth public.
And then, there are those other factions that very much want to keep this technology hidden - because it would mean the collapse of the VAST PROFITS of the current AMA, medical industries, and the pharmaceutical industries. So it's currently a "tug of war".
